Bonus Bandcamp tracks first released 3/27/22

This started as a 10 minute solo jam session one night. I kept picking up instruments and playing them as I recorded it all live. You can even hear the ice cubes of the drink I had in my hand as I sang. This was a moment being captured, not a song being recorded. I was trying to shake off all the bad vibes that have seemed to come and go in waves for the last few years. And it worked!

I listened back to it the next day and decided it was meant for more than just me. I edited down all the different instruments and vocals I had performed, and planned on giving it to you all on March 4th, BandCamp Friday. Some of you preordered it on that day. (Thank you!) Then, several things happened to delay the release, the most major was losing my hearing.

As a person who holds music as one of the most wonderful things that can be experienced in this life, this sucked to say the least. I still performed live all week (performing is a major part of how I make my living) and did my best to make sure I performed well enough that no one could tell I was in pain. So I've lived this song. I know you have too. You've had moments where the thing that was so important to you was taken away. And then the worry comes, asking to be let inside.

This song healed me. Is it my best song? I don't believe in bests. But it's a moment that happened that I was able to capture, and I can tell you this, I enjoyed mixing this song more than any other song that I've mixed so far. And I've mixed a LOT of stuff I enjoy.

So now, I give it to you. It's the longest and most cinematic song I've released. I hope you dig it and it helps you to close your eyes, let go, and just be. And if the song does for you what it did for me, I hope your worry goes away and your love returns.
